Cheer Tryouts and Important Information

All females currently in grades 6th-11th interested in trying out for cheerleader: Mandatory parent meeting for Russellville Cheerleading candidates on Thursday, February 21st at the top of the field house. Middle School candidates meet from 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. High School candidates meet from 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Free physicals will be available

Soccer Season Opener

Varisty & JV Girls soccer season opener was Thursday, February 14th. The first ever JV girls game vs Hartselle resulted in a 2-2 tie. The varisty game also ended in a tie with a score of 0-0.  

Tennis Opener

Boys and girls tennis both open the season with wins over Central. Boys won 7-2 and girls won 9-0. Congratulations to both teams on big section wins! #RHS_GT_Tennis 

Volleyball Clinic & Tryouts

RHS Volleyball will host a volleyball clinic March 6th & 7th for girls in grades 2nd-7th from 3:30-5:30 at RMS gym. The cost is $20. Forms will be sent home. Money and forms are due back March 1st. Participants may ride the bus with a parent note that they must get signed by an administrator.

Golden Tigers are Area 14 Champions

Russellville 62, Hamilton 52: Russellville clinched the 5A, Area 14 championship with a win at Hamilton. Lucas McNutt led with 21 points, followed by Will Bonner and Chandler Dyes with 14 points each. Russellville will host Madison Academy for sub-regionals,
